Well, I just read one of my favorite blogs! I'll Fly Away (aka) singing purple feathers.blogspot.com. For the adults who read this, you might try reading the wisdom of a 13 yr-old! She is wise beyond her years and sweeter than a Georgia peach!! She gets this of course from her intense love for the Lord and the training and guidance of her parents who are to be commended highly!! Good job! I can picture God smiling down on you all, now. Keep up the good work.
So, what has been happening in my life? Well, I too am growing closer and closer to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit through some really tough trials. Not even related to my health, for a change, although that remains to be a constant problem. But I know that in Heaven we shall have no more pains and only beauty and peace and be with our Savior forever, Amen, Hallelujah!!
The high school I graduated from (I attended my last two of 4 yrs. there) is having an "All 60's Reunion" next year and I seeing alot of friends on Facebook whom I knew slightly (I was pathetically shy) and some I knew quite well and am still great friends with. By the way, I'm writing this in purple in honor of my SweetPea. (never mind that I spell it differently every time, it sounds the same!) Anyway, I have so many places I want to go to next year, mostly to see family I have not seen in years, like cousins that I am so close to in states I've never been to...what is one to do? Cost will be a big factor. And then of course I want to make a pilgrimage to Medjugorje (In Yugoslavia) and I don't know what that will cost...Why does things have to cost money?? Silly, rhetorical question, I know. It's not like I'm asking for a full re-do of my clothes closet. For Pete's sake, I've been wearing the same stuff, age appropriate of course, for many years now. Why change?
It would be nice to hear from my family, any of them besides my mom whom I call every week, even if they blogged to me. But busy, busy, busy I guess. Well, I am too. I co-lead a Prayer Network at my church with another 91-year-young lady who is as sweet as they come. However, her health is at this time giving her fits, pneumonia, which she is prone to and this is not the best weather here in MN, so of course, she is on our Prayer list, you can count on that!! We are fortunate to have quite a few volunteers who offer their time and their prayers for the needs of so many people!
Sorry, I haven't spent any time designing this blog. Maybe some day I'll get around to it. Occasionally, I remember to Blog!! So please feel free to resond to any or all of my blogs, would love to hear from you.
May God Bless you all, always. And Merry Christmas as we celebrate the wonderful Blessing of God's Birth in the Christ Child, Jesus!!
